Spies Like Us II
Over a six-month period, the Indian Army documented 329 sightings of two unidentified objects seen flying over Pangong Tso, a high-altitude lake lying across the border between India and Tibet. They also believed the objects violated the “Line of Actual Control,” which India shares with China, 155 times. Fearing China was using drones to spy on them, officials chartered the Indian Institute of Astrophysics in Bangalore to look at the objects and determine their origin. Astronomers were able to quickly identify the “drones” — as the planets Jupiter and Venus.
