Stoner Stop

A Montana Highway Patrol officer pulled over a car on Interstate 90. According to a police spokesman, the officer “developed suspicions that the vehicle contained illegal drugs” and called for a K-9 unit. After the dog alerted officers to the presence of drugs, police obtained a search warrant and found 102 vacuum-packed bundles of marijuana weighing 115 pounds. Rick Voight, 37, and Dawn Voight, 41, were arrested and charged with possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute. The stop, search, and arrest took place at mile marker 420.
