Tarzan’s Apartment

A man in Decatur, Ala., called 911 to report gorillas in his yard, then left the line open. “He never came back on the phone,” police spokesman Lt. John Crouch said. That’s why the dispatcher heard the gunshots. Officers responded and found the man uninjured, but with a shotgun that had been fired several times, apparently from a recliner inside his home into a wall. “It appeared he was shooting at something he thought was inside the house,” Crouch said. “He was taken into custody without incident and no charges will be filed at this time.” The man declined to be taken to a hospital, but a mental health officer ordered it anyway. (MS/Decatur Daily) ...There is no information on whether any gorillas were injured.
