The Older They Get, the Meaner They Get

Kay Novacek, 79, of Omaha, Neb., says a man came to her house and first asked for directions, then for a glass of water. When they went into her kitchen for the water, the man allegedly tried to take money from her wallet while she wasn’t looking — except she was watching his reflection in the microwave window. “I saw him bend over and try and reach for that billfold. I said, ‘Oh no you don’t’,” Novacek said. I walked across and grabbed it out of his hand.” The thief bolted with the only cash he’d managed to grab: a fake billion-dollar bill. (MS/KMTV Omaha) ...If there’s one thing my grandma taught me, it’s don’t mess with grandma!
