The Opposite of Co-Dependent

The night the First Bank in Manatee, Fla., was robbed, Afra Sandifar was watching the news on TV. She told her husband, “Honey, you’re on the news for robbing a bank. He said, ‘No.’ I said, ‘Look,’ pointing at the TV.” He grabbed the loot and fled; she called police and turned him in. “He’s didn’t mean no harm,” she said. Officers found Troy Sandifar, 45, sitting in his car trying to eat the evidence: rock cocaine he bought with the cash. He faces one count of robbery. “He went about it the wrong way,” Afra said. “I’m not going to hide something like that. He needs to be sentenced and go into a program or something.” The couple has been married just six months. “I thought we were going to have a good life,” she said. (RC/Bradenton Herald) ...The honeymoon is over.
