The Rat Lady

Public health officials in San Francisco, Calif., discovered that a woman in the city, identified only as “Erica J.”, 43, has been breeding rats “for years” for the specific purpose of letting them go to infest the city. They say they have exterminated “thousands” of rats in her neighborhood. The woman was eventually evicted from her room, but she kept at the breeding program while living under a bridge. A spokeswoman for the city’s Animal Care and Control agency notes that whenever its officers see Erica on the street, they confiscate more rats, but say it’s likely she is hiding even more. (RC/San Francisco Chronicle) ...Can’t they find her a Snake Lady to live with?
