Think Outside the Bun

When the manager of a Taco Bell restaurant in Palm City, Fla., noticed a man passed out in the drive-through lane, he called police. By the time deputies arrived the man had gotten his food and was sitting in the parking lot, his foot on the gas so hard that his pick-up’s engine was racing and smoking. When a deputy asked the man for his I.D., he pulled out a taco. Matthew Falkner, 30, was arrested for driving under the influence; his blood alcohol was measured at nearly three times the legal limit: 0.227 percent. By the time they got him out of his truck, the engine had caught fire. Deputies solved that with a fire extinguisher. (RC/Stuart News) ...I’ve had Taco Bell’s “Fire” sauce, so I know: it’s not that hot.
