We Swear to God We’re Atheists

The Freedom From Religion Foundation paid for seven billboards to be posted in Columbus, Ohio, to promote atheism. The Christ Cathedral Church objected to one in particular. It showed a photo of a real Ohio man, Dylan Galos, 25, smiling with the message, “I can be good without God.” The Rev. Waymon Malone ordered it removed, which he could do because the billboard, which is owned by Clear Channel Communications, is on church property. The advertising buyer who bought the placements on behalf of the Foundation, called it “an unfortunate oversight,” adding he didn’t know that billboard was on a church’s land. Clear Channel refused to comment. (RC/Columbus Dispatch) ...It’s not really a surprise to learn that atheists are “good” compared to Clear Channel, is it?
