What a Lousy Shot

Shawn B. Mossow, 25, of Watertown, N.Y., says his best friend, Wesley Bell, has asked him several times to shoot him, because he wanted to know what being shot felt like. Mossow always refused. The most recent time, Mossow begged off by saying he didn’t have a gun or ammunition. Bell responded by handing Mossow a .22 caliber rifle. Still no ammunition, so the two went to Walmart to buy some. Mossow said he only grabbed one shell; his plan was to shoot and miss Bell, and then say he had no more ammo. But the shot hit Bell below the knee, and Mossow was arrested and charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, a felony. As for what it felt like: Bell said it didn’t hurt as much as he thought it would. (RC/Watertown Daily Times) ...Too bad, since being stupid should be painful.
