What Was His Wife Doing?

Russell Little was depressed and had been drinking moonshine in his South Bend, Ind., backyard, his wife told police, when he decided to try playing with the dog. The time: about 9:00 p.m. The game: Russian roulette. The dog survived the first few rounds unscathed, Little’s wife said, then “he got tired of that, put the gun to his own head and pulled the trigger,” police said. Bang. The bullet entered near Little’s right ear, and x-rays showed it ended up on the left side of his skull. He didn’t survive. (AC/South Bend Tribune) ...And the dog may have been the only one that cared.
