What Was That?

Police in Houston, Texas, are looking for three unknown suspects who attempted to rob a lingerie store. Surveillance cameras show the men entering Katz’s Boutique — one with a revolver and one with a rifle. The man with the revolver appears to have bumped the man with the rifle, causing the rifle to discharge. “Which then spooked both the suspects,” police spokesman Jeff Brieden said. Apparently thinking they were being shot at, the suspects began firing their weapons and ran out of the store. Nearly a dozen rounds were fired, all by the suspects. Nobody was hurt, but the man with the rifle shot a mannequin and the store’s window. “I have to say that in the seven years that I’ve been investigating robberies, these are by far some of the clumsiest crooks that I’ve seen in a long time,” Brieden said. (MS/KHOU Houston) ...Good thing the mannequin wasn’t “armed.”
