ZT for Babies

Randy Murray of Ottawa, Ont., Canada, drove his kids to daycare, and knew his 2-year-old daughter, Faith, had a cheese sandwich in the car, but he didn’t notice the girl put the sandwich in her pocket. “By the time she was two steps in one of the teachers saw it, handed it back to me and then the next thing you know, I’m told we’re suspended,” Murray said — for three days, starting immediately. “I thought they were joking,” Murray said. “I didn’t realize it was so strict that a two-year-old would be suspended.” But indeed, the Centre de l’enfant aux 4 Vents preschool has a zero tolerance “no outside food” policy. The policy is on a sign at the door — but only in French, and Murray can’t read French well enough to understand the sign. (RC/CBC) ...Fool! Doesn’t everyone know Canada’s bilingualism requirement only applies to the English population?
