A Bad First Date is Guaranteed
A man in Naples, Fla., called 911 — to ask the dispatcher for a date. After being told that’s not an appropriate use of the emergency line, the man persisted, asking the dispatcher if she was “into handcuffs.” When asked if he needed help, the man said yes — help to “get off the alcohol.” But, he said, he didn’t want to go back to an alcohol treatment center, since that’s “like jail.” After the third such call from the man, an officer was sent to his house, where Stephen Ramsey, 45, admitted to the officer he was “looking for a date or escort service to help him pass the time.” He was charged with misdemeanor abuse of the 911 system — and taken to jail. (RC/WFTX Ft. Myers) ...An awful place — it reminds him of rehab.Original Publication Date: 23 November 2014
