Bobbing for Damages
Marcos Hernandez is suing Christine Lee and her Tampa, Fla., condo association. He says he was legally in her apartment when, without provocation, her bobcat attacked him. She failed, he says, to “take reasonable precautions to guard or protect others from the viciousness and danger of her bobcat,” which was not leashed. Lee has released a photograph which she says depicts the animal in question. “Calli” is a fluffy and adorable tortoiseshell housecat, and she says she does not own a bobcat. Hernandez says the feline inflicted a disability that interferes with his capacity for work. (AC/WFLA Tampa) ...His capacity to interact with animals was already poor at best.Original Publication Date: 14 January 2018
