Commander in Cheap

Veterans-in-Command, a military veterans support organization in Queens, N.Y., reached out to a successful Queens-born businessman asking for a contribution: Donald Trump. It was long before Trump announced his candidacy for president, but they didn’t hear back from him — until recently. The answer, from his campaign officials, said they are “unable to make donations from the campaign,” even though “Mr. Trump is very passionate about giving veterans the best life possible!” In lieu of cash, they enclosed some Trump campaign bumper stickers. To add insult to injury, the Trump campaign has since been soliciting support from Veterans-in-Command. (RC/New York Daily News) ...Why stickers scare them: they’re worried they’ll be stuck with Trump for four years.
