Dare to Set an Example
The Seaford, Del., School District asked the police to conduct a drug search of the school’s buildings and all vehicles in the parking lot. Search dogs alerted on Ryan Harris’ vehicle, which was searched. Inside, they found a bag that allegedly contained 20.8 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, and a glass pipe. Harris was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with an aggravating factor (being in a school zone), and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
