Why were three guards wearing handcuffs instead of their uniforms at the Nova Mutum jail near Cuiaba, Brazil? And why were 28 inmates missing? It apparently has something to do with the dominatrix-style police uniforms found at the site. Investigators say three women showed up in costume at 3:00 a.m. and asked the officers to let them in. “The plan was to seduce them,” said Police Chief Angelina de Andrades Ferreira. The women gave the guards drugged drinks, then unlocked the place. “Whoever wanted to escape left by the front door.” Ferreira said the scheme was the work of one of the women and her boyfriend, who was locked up at the prison for attempted murder. Police caught some of the escapees by the next day, but meanwhile the three prison guards were arrested to face charges of “facilitating a jailbreak” and embezzling some guns the inmates stole. And one of the guards must live with the knowledge that a photo of him dressed to be dominated has gone viral online.
