Don’t Inhale
Police in Tangerang district of Jakarta, Indonesia, burned an 1,100 lb. “mountain” of confiscated marijuana in a field near the police station — causing the entire neighborhood to get “high as a kite” from the drifting smoke, reporters watching the operation say. Police wore masks, but didn’t provide masks, or even suggest them, for onlookers. A spokesman for Indonesia’s National Narcotics Agency reassured residents that inhaling the fumes from the marijuana would “not lead to any long-term health problems.” (RC/London Telegraph) ...Nice to have that official confirmation.Original Publication Date: 05 April 2015
