Double Freak of Nomenclature

A man called attention to himself as he sped into a parking lot at the Placer County (Calif.) Courthouse, parked in a reserved lot (taking two parking spaces), and ran inside, apparently trying to make it to his court date on time. Sheriff’s deputies, who watched it all, waited for him to finish his business inside, and then confronted him when he returned to his car. They found the man had been driving with a suspended license, and because he was on probation they searched his car — and found marijuana packaged for sale, hash, scales, and other paraphernalia. To top it off, they determined the man was high on meth. Thomas Edward Weed, 47, a resident of the city of (yes!) Grass Valley, was arrested on multiple charges, and jailed. (RC/KOVR Sacramento) ...A double namefreak like that couldn’t happen again in 100 years.
