When Susan Marie Surrette, 54, appeared in court in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., by video feed to have her bond set on a charge of disorderly intoxication, she had a couple of things to say to the judge. For one, she told Judge John Hurley she prefers to go by the name “Kayla Kupcakes” — and noted she works as an escort and a model. Her second statement was silent: she lifted her top and exposed herself to the judge. Judge Hurley apparently didn’t rule on that particular motion: he simply set her bail at $100.
