Improper

While executing a search warrant looking for a drug operation in Jimmie “Mook” James’ apartment, police in Springfield, Mass., say they found cocaine, money, scales, and drug paraphernalia. They also noticed something else: a Bible on James’ nightstand. A detective, “thinking that James did not seem like an overly religious person,” opened the book — and found that it was hollowed-out so that it could conceal a loaded pistol. James, 32, returned to his apartment during the raid and was arrested. He is charged with resisting arrest, refusing to submit to fingerprinting, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, possession of ammunition, and improper storage of a firearm in a Bible. (RC/Hartford Courant) ...What’s the proper way to store a firearm in a Bible?
