In the Shadow of Death

Organizers responded to deadly terrorist attacks on Brussels, Belgium, by announcing a “March Against Fear” for Easter Sunday. But government officials noted the threat level and said the march would require too much attention from security services. “Let us allow the security services to do their work and that the march, which we too want to take part in, be delayed for several weeks,” said Mayor Yvan Mayeur. The organizers postponed the march, saying the “security of our citizens is an absolute priority.” (AC/AFP, Deutsche Welle) ...If you really want to show you’re not afraid, march without the security services.
