McObliviot II

“This is a robbery, give me 5,000 nobody gets shot.” said the note a robber handed a bank teller in Seymour, Conn. The teller handed over about $500 and the man fled, leaving the holdup note behind. The note was a handy clue for detectives: it was written on the back of a pay stub, complete with a Social Security number. Police went to the McDonald’s that issued the pay, and showed them a photo of the robber taken by security cameras. The manager said the man didn’t work there — but it looked like an employee’s boyfriend. The manager showed them their own security camera footage: it showed the robber coming in to talk to the woman a half-hour after the robbery, and then leaving in the same car used as the getaway vehicle. The woman went with him, telling her boss there was a “family emergency.” Officers went to the woman’s house and found Steven Gomez-Maya, 20, just driving away; a stack of new $10 bills were in the car. Gomez-Maya is being held on $250,000 bond, and the girlfriend was apparently not arrested. (RC/Valley Independent Sentinel) ...Yeah, she has suffered enough already.
