My Dad is My Enabler

Dallas Cowboys backup running back Joseph Randle, 22, was arrested after allegedly shoplifting a two-pack of underwear, and a “tester” bottle of cologne, from a department store. The theft was captured by security cameras. “All right, y’all got me,” he told Frisco, Texas, officers who responded to the store. Total value of the items: $123.50; Randle is paid a base salary of $495,000 per year. Despite all of this, Randle’s father insists “My son is not a thief, OK?” but is rather a “Christian boy.” As a result of the case, the Cowboys fined Randle $29,500. Just about the moment that was announced, the MeUndies underwear brand announced that “Randle would like to take full responsibility for his actions” — and said it had hired him as a company spokesman — with a promised minimum pay of $29,500.
