Nah Nah Nah Nah

Daniel Tilson, 57, a “liberal blogger” in Tallahassee, Fla., says “it was creepy” when an agent from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement came to his Boca Raton home to ask him about a blog post he made about Gov. Rick Scott, a conservative. Tilson’s post, titled “Gov. Scott’s Magical Mystery Tax Cut Calculator”, was promoted with a line from the Beatles, specifically “they’re coming to take you away” from 1967’s “Magical Mystery Tour”. Liberal bloggers had a field day, accusing Scott of sending agents to harass anyone who would speak out against him. The FDLE is responsible for the governor’s security, and “agents will always err on the side of caution when judging the context of a blog, email or other posting,” a spokesman said. But, the spokesman added, “Commissioner [Rick] Swearingen is reviewing the incident and believes FDLE could have better evaluated the post and is speaking to all regions to ensure better coordination in the future.” (RC/Tampa Bay Times) ...Predicted title of his next blog post: “Fool on the Hill”.
