John Connolly, 52, of Englewood, Fla., apparently wasn’t satisfied with the pain pills prescribed to him by the Sarasota Family Medical Walk-In Clinic, so he went back to complain. He encountered a Physician’s Assistant, who explained the doctor wasn’t available, and the PA couldn’t alter the doctor’s orders. A witness had to rescue the medic, and Connolly was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
