Not What They Mean by “Diming Someone Out”

Frankie Garcia, 47, is facing federal charges of buying votes in the Donna, Texas, school board elections. The price of a vote: one “dime bag” of cocaine or $10 in cash. The indictment says Garcia “brought three voters to the polls to vote for candidates in the Donna School Board election. Garcia paid the voters for voting by dropping $30 into the car in which they were seated, through an open car window, after they voted.” Earlier, four other candidates were implicated for buying votes for cash, beer, and cigarettes, and two others were arrested for selling votes for cocaine. All of the arrests were in connection to the same school board election. (MS/McAllen Monitor) ...DARE to keep these obliviots away from the kids.
