“This place is worth not just one but two stars,” said a customer at the Bouche à Oreille in Bourges, France. The food and decor aren’t fancy, but neither are the prices or the customers. The cook, however, cares about what she does — and for about two days, the Bouche à Oreille had a Michelin star. It turned out the star was meant for the Bouche à Oreille in Boutervilliers, which is much fancier. But the chef in Boutervilliers said if he’s in Bourges, he’ll “pop in” to the Bouche à Oreille there “for a lunch and a beer.” (AC/London Telegraph) ...The star awarded to the Times Square McDonalds is harder to explain.Original Publication Date: 05 March 2017
