Slow News Day in Tallahassee

Debra Mitchell, 55, of Tallahassee, Fla., was shocked when she looked into her bowl. She was expecting just to see the remains of her dessert, Key Lime pie, but “the face appeared clear as day,” she says. What did it mean? “America’s in so much trouble and the first thing that came to mind was war,” she said. “You can see the man crying.” Taking it for a religious sign, “I went next door to a church I’d never visited,” Mitchell says. “They told me to leave. They told me it was demonic and that I needed to leave.” She doesn’t think it was demonic, so what did she do with this sacred relic? She washed it, of course, and then let the local newspaper take a picture of the empty bowl, which the newspaper is offering for sale. (RC/Tallahassee Democrat) ...The newspaper business is in worse trouble than I thought.
