Smart Dog, Bad Best Friend

Police were executing a search warrant at Edward Henderson’s Prattville, Ala., home. They spotted Henderson running out the back of his house, where he jumped down into a 25-foot ravine. Then Bo, Henderson’s dog, came up to the officers. One of the officers pointed at Henderson and told the dog, “Go get him.” Sure enough, “Bo without hesitation went down the ravine trailed by two drug enforcement investigators,” the police report said. The officers followed Bo through the woods and caught up to him standing next to Henderson’s hiding spot, wagging his tail. Henderson was arrested without incident and charged with failure to obey police, two counts of first-degree unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. (MS/Montgomery Advertiser) ...Bo was called a good boy and given a treat.
