Cambridge University in England has a long-standing ban on dogs, but allows cats. Roger Mosey, master of Selwyn College at Cambridge, applied for permission to keep his “very large cat” YoYo at his residence on campus, and the university’s council agreed. “College Animal,” the meeting minutes read. “Noting precedent under the mastership of Professor Chadwick, Council approved the Master’s request to adopt a Very Large Cat in the Master’s Lodge.” YoYo is a basset hound.
