Swiss Would Be Safer

Two freshmen were eating lunch at La Crosse (Wisc.) Central High School. “Someone cracked a pretty good joke and I was laughing so hard to the point of where I took a deep breath and that’s when I started to choke,” said Will Olson. He started to panic and thought, “Oh jeez, could I possibly die from this?” No way: his buddy across from him, Ian Brown, who is also a police cadet and had recently re-certified in CPR, “calmly” walked around the table and saved Olson’s life with a properly performed Heimlich maneuver. “I was very lucky to have him across the table from me,” Olson said.
