The Green Flash

An unnamed woman driving along Lake Huron in Ontario, Canada, was pulled over by police for speeding — 150 kph in an 80 zone (93 mph in a 50 zone). Her excuse: she was trying to get to her cottage in time for the sunset. Police had a few problems with that, not even including that one has to drive at least 700 mph at that latitude to keep up with the sun. No, they were more prosaic: they noted it was 8:30 a.m., and cited her for racing, suspended her license for a week, and impounded her car. (RC/Canadian Press) ...Maybe her cottage is in Manitoba.
