The Oldest Scam in the Book

Gina Lucyfenia Lee and Anthony Lee Davis, self-proclaimed “psychics” in Lompoc, Calif., have pleaded guilty to grand theft after convincing two women to give them approximately $244,800 in cash so that they could “clean” the money of “evil spirits.” Prosecutors say the women never got their money back. Because the felony charges are considered an “aggravated white collar crime,” Lee and Davis face up to 5 years, 8 months in prison. But in a plea bargain, they could get just 5 years of probation — if they pay all the money back within 90 days. (RC/KSBY San Luis Obispo) ...Then they need another rich obliviot, and quick!
