Trifecta

The Ohio State Highway Patrol didn’t have to do much investigation to determine the cause of a crash in Middletown, Ohio, when a vehicle crashed into a utility pole — and came to rest on train tracks. Naturally, a train was coming: the driver ignored the train’s horn, the engineer said, and when he hit the pickup, the driver was ejected, and flew 30 feet into a gravel pit. When emergency responders got to her, the driver was not only still alive, but allegedly told them, “Don’t bother me, I’m drunk.” Jessica D. Barnes, 24, was hospitalized in serious condition with a head injury, and is under arrest, charged with DUI, failure to control her vehicle, and not wearing a seatbelt. (RC/WXIX Cincinnati) ...I’m just going to guess that her blood alcohol level was triple the legal limit, too.
