Erica Kenny, 22, and Chanese White, 28, are facing child abuse charges over the “care” they provided to children at Lightbridge Academy in Cranford, N.J. “We have assisted the prosecutor’s office from the start of its investigation into this matter,” Lightbridge Academy said in a statement. According to investigators, Kenny and White used the movie Fight Club as an example, and shot video as they encouraged the children to fight each other on the playground. “About a dozen children — boys and girls between the ages 4 and 6 — just fighting, throwing each other to the ground, hitting each other,” said Union County prosecutor Grace Park. Upon learning of the allegations, Lightbridge Academy immediately suspended, and later fired, Kenny and White. According to authorities, the investigation started after Kenny shared clips of the fights with friends on social media.
