Unnecessary Cheating
Belfast, Me., police say they told Brian Fogg, 27, he had options. They’d taken the drunk-driving suspect to jail and wanted to give him a Breathalyzer test, but he didn’t have to take it. Gerry Lincoln said Fogg picked an option “which wasn’t one of the ones we gave to him”: he punched himself in the face — repeatedly. “We took that as a refusal to take the test,” Lincoln said. Officers treated his injuries and charged him with drunk driving.
