Vibrating with Excitement
A robber struck the Lotions & Lace adult novelty store in San Bernardino, Calif., just before closing. “I just thought he was trying to be funny, to scare us,” said one of the clerks, who was only identified as “Amy” in news reports. “But then I saw the gun and it was like, really? I don’t have time for this.” Rather than give him money, she started yelling at the man, and then her co-worker started pelting him with merchandise — sex toys. The man ran, empty-handed. “San Bernardino police,” noted the news report, “said they generally recommend people don’t confront armed robbers.” (RC/KABC Los Angeles) ...Unless they have plenty of C cells.Original Publication Date: 18 December 2016
