Was It the Smell of the McGriddles?

Pedro Viloria was working the morning shift at a Doral, Fla., McDonald’s when an off-duty Miami-Dade police officer pulled up to the drive-through window with her two children in the back. She paid for their meals, but when Viloria returned with their food, he found the woman wasn’t breathing. “I thought something was going wrong,” he said. The officer passed out and her foot slipped off the brake, so Viloria jumped through the drive-through window to help with the rolling SUV. An off-duty paramedic alerted by the commotion jumped out of her car to assist the officer, while an off-duty Miami-Dade Fire Rescue member heard what was happening, grabbed his partner, and ran out to help. The group was able to revive the woman and take her to the hospital. (MS/WPLG Miami) ...All in the line of off-duty.
