What Can You Say?

A caller to 911 dispatchers reported a man in Blair Township, Mich., was “wearing camo pants and a clown mask and at one point was playing a trombone.” But that’s not what brought deputies to the scene. Rather, it was what the man was doing when not playing his ’bone: waving a gun around. Daniel Patrick Stanchik, 54, was drunk, but only armed with a pellet gun, deputies say. They still arrested him on a charge of violating a restraining order. Stanchik “did not give any statement to police about his alleged actions.” (RC/Grand Rapids Press) ...No, the 911 caller pretty much said it all.
