When Kort Goes
Melvin Kort was in his nineties, and wasn’t in great health. Nevertheless, when his daughters went to his home and found his body, they went into “a panic.” They put him in a shallow grave right on the property, and they told their uncle he’d moved, says the Lake County (Fla.) Sheriff’s Office. But after nine years went by with no contact with his brother, the uncle reported Kort missing. Also, an anonymous tipster said there was a grave on the property. Remains were dug from the grave; identification is pending. And the daughters may face charges of improperly disposing of human remains. (AC/Orlando Sentinel, WFTV Orlando) ...On the bright side, maybe they can run a haunted house — if they don’t panic.Original Publication Date: 30 October 2016
