When She Comes to Life, Anything Can Happen
Police were called to a lingerie store in Nashville, Tenn., for a reported theft. An employee said a man walked into the store, grabbed a mannequin valued at over $5,000, and took it outside. After arguing with the employee in the parking lot, the man put the mannequin in his truck and drove off, leaving only her left arm behind. Officers used the truck’s license plates to trace the mannequin to a house, where they found Christopher Wade, 55, in bed with it. Wade was arrested on theft charges and held on $11,000 bond. The arm, which connected magnetically, was easily reattached to the mannequin. (MS/Nashville Tennessean) ...He tried to pay an arm and a leg for her, but only got halfway there.Original Publication Date: 17 July 2016
