You Win Some, You Lose Some
A man won big at the Betfred betting shop in Manchester, England. He was so thrilled with his winnings that he left a generous 60 pound (US$95) tip for the staff. Two weeks later, though, the man returned. He’d lost all his winnings and demanded his money back. “You don’t know who I am,” the man said. “I want my money back by 3 p.m.” Employees called the police but the man left before officers arrived and the call was cancelled. The tip was never returned. (MS/Manchester Evening News) ...Clearly they knew who he was.Original Publication Date: 09 August 2015
