(S)potted

Baton Rouge police say they noticed Cyrus Antoine weaving in and out of lanes in the wee hours of the morning with no license plate on his car, so they tried to pull him over. He kept going, not stopping for about 10 minutes. His breath, the officer said, had a strong smell of weed. A search turned up multiple drugs, but perhaps less than it might have — and the reason may also explain how long it took the suspect to pull over. Antoine, 36, didn’t want the officers to find pot in his car, police say he told them, so he was “trying to eat all the marijuana.” (AC/WBRZ Baton Rouge) ...What’s the use of destroying evidence if you immediately confess you did?
