A supermarket employee in Lawrence Township, Ohio, is accused of stealing $9,200 in ham and salami — but not by taking out of the store. The figure represents eight years of eating a few slices of lunch meat a day, as calculated by a Giant Eagle chain loss prevention manager. It’s enough to rate a felony charge against the unidentified worker, who, a Tuscarawas County sheriff’s deputy said, confessed.
