A Perfectly Reasonable Search
According to a lawsuit, police were told some students at Worth County (Ga.) High School Georgia “might” have drugs. The tipsters: students interrogated about robberies. The officers assembled a list of 13 student suspects. So, quite naturally, on a day when three of those suspects were in school (according to the lawsuit), they searched every student in the building. It’s some of those 900 young people who are now suing. They complain that sheriff’s deputies were thorough — that they touched both the boys’ and girls’ genitals (through clothes) and, by pulling up bras, exposed parts of the girls’ bodies that are normally concealed. No drugs were found. (AC/Washington Post) ...If they don’t learn submission in school, how will they ever deal with airports?Original Publication Date: 18 June 2017
