A Prank Gone Afowl

Sixteen seniors at Shikellamy High School in Sunbury, Pa., have been held responsible for a senior prank that got out of hand. “There was a lot of toilet paper, a lot of Vaseline on the handles of doors,” said senior Brian Snyder (who wasn’t involved in the prank). “There were chickens.” Yes, along with flipped desks and toilet paper in the halls, a dozen chickens were released in the school. The responsible students will be coming in two hours early every day until graduation to clean up the school and perform community service. A school administrator had “supervised” the students as they performed the prank, the “senior advisor”. In addition to him, the principal and vice principal have been suspended. A meeting will be held to decide when — and if — they will be allowed to return. The superintendent is now in charge at the school.
