“The guy is trying to kill him on my job!” the frantic caller pleaded to a 911 dispatcher. “Please come out.” A construction worker at a Walmart store being built in DeBary, Fla., seemed to have had a beef with the big cheese: after an argument, Erick A. Cox, 32, allegedly half-buried his boss in dirt using a front-end loader and, once he was pinned down by the dirt, beat him unconscious using an aluminum level. Cox, who goes by the nickname “Pork Chop” and has a rap sheet showing more than 10 years of domestic violence and battery convictions, was charged with aggravated battery.
