All Charged Up, Nowhere to Go

Police in Palo Alto, Calif., arrested a burglar caught inside a couple’s home at 12:30 a.m. It’s not that the couple was so alert that they woke up and surprised the burglar. Rather, the burglar, who entered through a window after cutting through the screen, purposefully woke them up — to ask for their WiFi password because he was “out of data.” The burglar was not identified by police since he is only 17, but he is facing several charges. (RC/KRON San Francisco, Palo Alto Weekly) ...“Only DSL? Well, do any of your neighbors have fiber?”
