Aren’t You Special
Pull over, said a Washington State Patrol trooper. “I will not,” an unnamed woman is accused of replying. “I drive a Prius.” The woman, from Olympia, said she’d stop at a certain parking lot. Her Prius’s tires had repeatedly popped, she explained, and she refused to use the shoulder. In fact, the trooper said, she refused four times. She also refused to get out of her Prius, even resisting when the trooper extracted her. “I will own your bank account,” she told him. “I will own your house.” She was arrested for investigation of several misdemeanor charges, but released pending trial. (AC/Everett Herald) ...They’d better make sure the courthouse parking lot is nicely paved.Original Publication Date: 07 October 2018
